after all the speculation earlier in the year regarding changes to the satellite tv footprint in europe, how have funsters ACTUALLY found things this year ? is it even worth people taking those suitcase [aldi/maplins etc] systems with them anymore? i have a katherine diamond shaped dish with built in lnb and on previous visits to france have picked up a good signal all over, it came with the van so if it is now rendered defunct it is no big deal, but i wouldnt be a happy bunny if i had forked out for a all singing all dancing motorised system just for it now to become a rotating roof ornament !! cheers garry

We found, coming back up in April, that we could get all the channels on our sat dish once we had got towards the Biarritz area and all the way back up France. No idea how it would perform eastwards of Biarritz but we will find out in August. With the sky box and card we could still get all the channels in Spain and Portugal with the exception of any BBC or ITV channels
