Does anyone know if the above vehicle has a "Can-bus " electrical system, has i want to fit some "daytime driving lights" and fit them to the front side light connections,as they are not very bright anyway ?

It's unlikely it will have CANBUS any further than the engine management systems, if at all.

The sidelights being dim can be for various reasons - blackened bulbs the most obvious.
Check the voltage at the bulb holder, first across the 2 bulb terminals and if voltage is low (10/11v ish)...
then check between bulb feed terminal and bat earth - if now good voltage, bulb earth is bad...
Then bulb earth terminal and pos+ on battery - if now good voltage, bulb supply is bad.

If voltage supply is good and bulbs clear then you seee what wattage the bulb is and see if this can be upgraded.

a lot easier just to turn on your dipped headlamps. Volvo style.:thumb:
no drilling for lamps, no wiring and no switch to isolate the driving lamps.
