Our 1st weekend away at Chatsworth CC site. And the sun came out. It was worth all the hassle of getting our van from France and the few issues with the VCA :)
Can't wait till the next one. 40's weekend at Burrs country park....
Thanks to all the funsters that helped us reach this point.

We had booked for Chatsworth 17.April for 3nts but had to cancel.
Mrs Gavlass has been wanting to go for ages.
Any issues with access in your MH? Narrow roads?? Is it a nice site?

Chatsworth is a great site, minutes away from the house and grounds through a private entrance. The entry lane is narrow but the arrivals and departure times are staggered like many CC sites plus the lane has pretty good visibility.

Brilliant site. Been loads of times with the caravan. It's a pig to get on, by that I mean in finding a vacancy.....
Great walk in the grounds, even better if there is a food festival on.
As getting in the site, it's a bit tight, but easy really. Going from a TA caravan with a overall length of 40ft, to 25ft, no problems:)
It's a nice walk from the big house to Bakewell over the old packhorse route. Your ready for a few beers when you've done that.....
