    Hi Jim,

It's the first "van" size screen I've seen with built in Freesat, (HD at that), and I too thought the price was not bad. I could not find any online reviews either, maybe it's quite a new product.

Saves space and cables as well as no need for the separate sat box anymore...

First small one I've seen with a sat receiver and freeview .. that is a real bonus and makes life a lot easier... best of both worlds.. especially if touring abroad.

    difference in the two..

first one doesn't mention 12v .. there has been a question posted.. but not answered yet
the second one says it is 12vdc

need to call the seller to find out ..

Be careful of your use of the word "FREESAT".. That first one is NOT freesat.
Freesat is a UK system and has a particular program guide menu where UK language belonging to the Freesat group are listed..

It is FREE TO AIR, so when you download you will still get all the channels just not in any particular order and you may need to move them around ie BBC 1 may be channel number 576..

Apart from that if your happy to sort channels then looks a good deal..
A dont think a Freeview and Freesat small TV exists, the market is to small.

We have FREE TO AIR sat boxes in all the cabins on board the ship.

It takes 5 minutes to sort the channels, (you only need to do it once), into Favourites, so they can be in the same order as UK, ie

    BBC1
    BBC2
    ITV
    Ch 4

In addition you get more channels, and you can have it pre programmed so it's easy to switch it over to 19E to get CNN, Sky News, BBC World, etcwhen you are out of range of the 28E (Sky) footprint.

Hi Guys 'n' girls If you study the 2 links back to amazon they are different tv's. Scroll down to the product descriptions & they have different ASIN's (stock No's) one is a Delta19_12v the other is a Delta19. Thats why theres a £30 difference. Still a good price for a multi voltage TV with dvd. Hope this helps!!:thumb:

Agree with all the above just trying to avoid confusion for anyone who does not understand the difference and not so tech savvy. Some people may well have a Freesat at home and buy a Free to air expecting to get a nice neat menu they are familiar with.
A well known motorhome accessory dealer recently advertised one as Freesat and several people were about to buy them until it was pointed out they were free to air..

I run a Maxview (comag) and like you say. Can be tuned for other satelites and easy enough to move the channels around... TV prices are tumbling now.. :thumb:

As the above says, beware!!! DVB-S2 Satellite tuner (as stated in the product description) is a second generation FTA (free to air) satellite reciever not FREESAT. :thumb:

could be mistaken on the wording but it does say.....

    Technical Details
Widescreen TV with DVD plus integrated HD Satellite, HD Cable Tuners
    Integrated Slot-in type DVD Player
Complete with UK & European mains Adapters
    Light weight & Compact design.

which, to me, points to a 230v/110v to 12v 'brick'

The description Complete with UK & European mains Adapters
would not include connections to 12volt

it could if it has a 12v stepdown transformer in the mains cable.

UK having a UK 3 pin plug and euro having a 2 pin plug.

or it could mean a euro plug to uk plug adaptor.

but i did say i could be mistaken over the wording.

very true.....i often look at supermarket jobbies to see which are 12v via the 'brick' and which are direct 230v.
