We have a 2008 Swift Sundance with 3 12v sockets cigar type, 2 on the dash & 1 next to the TV aerial. I have just discovered that to get any working I need the ignition on. That's fair enough for the dash but not for the TV. Would the wiring be easily altered.

The one for the TV should have nothing to do with the cab ones.
In fact on British vans the hab electrics are dead when the ignition is on/engine running.

that would suggest that the 12v power isolating relay has been connected incorrectly.. ie.. on N/O contacts rather than N/C

sorry, not having a UK van can't help further.. but if you know where that relay is, or can ask Swift.. it's what I'd check first

the one's on the dash will be isolated when the engine is switched off. The one by the tv should be live

I could quite easily wire the socket off the leisure battery, but I will try Swift first
    Thanks all
