Good evening everyone, serious question time for a change! Our 1999 mohican has two 12 sockets which the 12v compressor we have just bought from maplin wont fit! only fits in cab cigarette lighter and the cable wont reach the rear wheels of the van from there! help please. steve and nade.:confused:

Change the plug or change the sockets, get an extension cable. There isn't a magic wand it will cost you.

I bought an extention cable for mine, works ok

Are the little 2 pin 12v sockets obselete now? bugger more money.
No if I think what you mean they are still available BUT the circuit they are on may not be fused high enough for your compressor.
Check what your pump is rated at first thing as many want 15 amps and often blow the cig socket fuse after prolonged use.

Seriously any caravan shop will sell what you need about a fiver

Andy is right with his link. Also check how many amps your compressor needs
