Can anyone recommend a 12v sat box.? I'm trying to get rid of the 240v skybox that runs off a small inverter ..

Thanks

We have a 12v Pace satellite box works brilliant right down to northern Spain with our sky card installed. It is limited viewing but more than enough for us.
Last few trips we've taken our sky box from the bedroom as we have a 2000w inverter onboard but to be honest its no better than the Pace and much bulkier so we'll stick to the Pace in future.
Ours is an old model we bought off Ebay secondhand as they stopped making them at one time although I believe they are making them again.

I forgot to say we have an oyster 85 dish system

Thanks @Forestboy we have a small inverter too but I'm trying to get rid of the 240 stuff as it's more economical to cut out the conversions..(y)

When Jacksons supplied our 85cm Oyster we had an Icecrypt that works well.

Ahh Tonka, how much for the bush delivered? I've bought from you before so probably still have your details..

I sent the Tevion recently by first class royal mail think it was £5.50....
Something like My Hermes would be a little cheaper, about £3.

You will have to cut the 12 volt lead off the 230volt adapter and wire it to your 12 volts.
There are 12 volt leads on ebay but they are a very poor fit.

I use an Amiko Mini Combo.
12 Volt input. Dvb-S2 Satellite and Dvb-T2 Terrestrial in one box. Ethernet port and plug in USB WiFi adapter.
