Just a update on our freesat box
We were away all last week so left the box till then to fit in MH with the infa red ! Ended up cutting plug off

Had a slight problem well a major one really
Left the remote at Home
So never got to fit it let alone watch it !

I'm probably stating the obvious but - phone cameras are sensitive to IR so if you want to test a remote control view the transmit LED through your phone camera whilst pushing each button in turn. If the remote is OK you'll see the IR LED flash as each button is pressed. With the average modern remote control it should only take a week or so to test all the buttons .
