Yep..
When I was working my company were distributors for Humax, good equipment and back up..
As a refurb from Humax it should come almost as new and has 12 month guarantee..

You can cut the lead off the 230 plug unit and connect it direct to your 12 volts. OR take it to Maplins for a suitable 12 volt lead of the correct size & polarity
OR your Grundig one might fit.

MINE will probably arrive Friday so I'll sort it and let you know the necessary

Got our box yesterday ............not the same pin as our Grundig one.........so going to go to Maplin and see how much one will cost before we chop plug off

Do you need a dish to have this type of thong? We have only been abroad once so far but it would be good if I could get some sort of tv channels for mum to watch at night.

Many thanks hubby says it's a different one to what he's normally seen its like a laptop kinda pin ! It has a very small pin inside it

I've fitted it as it's so much better and put the other to spare
Plugged a 320gb hard drive in the back for recording and fitted an ifrafed repeater so it can be out of sight.
I recommend doing the software update after initial set up. Great that the remote can operate the TV too (Finlux)
