I have a Mobilvetta Euroyacht 170 LX and the 'transformer' in the kitchen light has burnt out. It is a strip light which works off both 12v and 240v.
I have tried to source a new part locally (auto electricians/Maplins/caravan spare
shop) with no success.
The only thing written on the transformer part is a date. Has anyone got any suggestion please. The vehicle is 1997 model.
Thanks

Hi,

Why not just get a 12v supply from the leisure battery and use the excisting 240v supply and forget about a transformer?

Alternatively you could use a coolbox step down converter 240/12v DC
