We have just picked up the Burstner and tried to fit the TV. The 12 volt socket is too small for our standard cigarette lighter type, can anyone tell us where we can buy the correct adapter please??

it will probably be a 'Wella' type plug, standard fit in Dethleffs, Burstner, Hymer......

you can Google it but I suspect your not familiar with this type of socket so go online to one of the motorhome/caravan suppliers

It may sound simple, but I have today fitted a 'finilux' TV, and the 12v fitting fitted the cigarette lighter, but not the TV 12 v, so I just slid off the , in our case red plastic' cover, and it fitted perfectly.

There are some plugs that do this and can be used on both... You were lucky to have that type fitted. :thumb:

A Hella, or more correctly, DIN plug is far superior to a standard fag lighter plug.

Positive engagement and much better contact area.

I might have one for sale with me at Stratford. I know that I have one but that's promised to another funster. I'll have a look this weekend and if I do have a second DIN adaptor it's yours if you're interested.

I've promised the first to Haganap for free and I see no reason why I should charge Ginny if I do find the other one, I have no use for them anymore.:wine:
