Almost enough to need specialist caterers for bacon butties :Smile:
then I might get mushrooms again ... I only had them once and they were wonderful ... oh how I miss them !!!!! :cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:

Seeing as this thread has veered onto bacon butties I wonder if it is now time offer some alternative butty filler was offered for the vegetarian/vegan etc members so they can join in too if they want?

I see the Isle of Wight is mentioned. You may wish to check out the ferry costs - be cheaper to have a rally in France. It's the main reason we don't attend rallies on the mainland.

a block booking of 30 or 40 motorhomes may allow you to negotiate a deal with the ferry company. c&cc have a discount deal with red funnel as i recall:thumb:

Yes they do with Whitelink - and quite useful it might be. We haven't tried using it but early research suggests it could drop the cost of a return ferry trip from £140 to £110. However, that's for Islanders who get a concession anyway. Still cheaper to travel to France. Otherwise Portsmouth to Fishbourne and return £165, Dover to Calais return £95. Depends when you travel of course.

... and if it's 17k registered, most of us have a partner so that's 34k people at least. That would be some rally. :Smile:
