l get around 6 on LPG and 7/8 on petrol with my heavy right foot and 7.5 tons and usually towing a toad. My bus is 7.5 litre ford v8 and 34ft long.
A yank once said to me l can go a 100 without a stop or hill whereas you brits never have clear traffic free roads without many hill so what do you expect?
These figures are based on my bus being stored in wales so constant hills, bends, and stops.
l now store the bus in the midlands and be interested to see the MPG now
