It was time for our Scooter to be serviced. Still under warranty so wanted it to be done by a Suzuki dealer. Nowhere within easy riding distance of us, so we decided to go by motorhome, as that is where the scooter is permanently parked, and make a night of it. We had bought it in Canterbury so we decided to take advantage of their P&R "Aire" and take it back to that dealer.
To cut a long story short we had a nice day out, met Nev @shunter for a chat, had a nice meal, nice quiet sleep, and went for some retail therapy in the city centre in the morning before we left.
Result for Canterbury is that we spent a lot of money there rather than somewhere else. Good for the city and good for us. Just a shame others places haven't cottoned on to the obvious link. No wonder so many town and city centres are going downhill fast.
Edit: Got a good service from the Suzuki dealer, Robinson's Foundry, at a good price.
