given up on google, maybe it doesn't exist???

I know you can get an external tv aerial socket, but can't find one for a USB. Ideally one unit with both.

I have 2 external thingys - a wifi booster which has a USB cable, and tv aerial cable. Rather than running through a window, am looking for a socket which has both? Failing that, just one for the USB as I know you can get an aerial socket. Can't find an external USB though.
Any bright ideas???

Getting better month by month.
I have seen them on Amazon.

Cannot get link to work. Type in waterproof USB and you get the "Marine" ones

I'll bet there's room to cut a USB connector ( extension cable ) next to the aerial socket.

More than toes wet now!
How are you looking to connect the back \ inside of the usb socket?
You can get panel mounted or case front usb sockets for a pc but they are generally 8 pin connectors.

Oooops beat to it by @Chipster

All those I have looked at re the above advice are actual powered usb sockets.
All I want to do is connect through a socket - instead of running the cable through a window. Ie. Plug into the outside and connect from the inside - same as a coaxial socket.

Not waterproof you would need to mount it next to and inside an external TV box if there's room. Or how about where you hook up? got room in there for a small hole where you could mount this? On the back side its a B type Square usb connector so jobs very easy to fit and connect no soldering.

Linky link:

Or this which is cheaper and says dust and water resistant:

Ah so your wifi booster doesn't need powered.
The link from Camping Gaza above should suffice then.
Alternatively, you can get flat aerial and usb cable that go out the window and still allow it to be closed and latched if you don't want to be installing sockets.

.

It does, but the power is supplied to the router inside the van, then the aerial runs from the router to wherever it's sited connected by a USB cable. I just hoped there was a 'through the wall' USB connector but it doesn't exist!

Have ordered a tv aerial exterior socket and will feed the USB cable through that!

I do not see there being a market of more than one for a combined TV and USB socket. You may be able to adapt a standard maxview aerial socket to give you a single TV and single USB. There are waterproof USB sockets or at least water resistant, but not when in use so I suspect not suitable for permanent use

You can get waterproof USB sockets for use on motorbikes etc, the below example has 2 USBs:

If your EHU inlet is on the same side as you want the aerial/USB you could place connectors in there as there's usually space to adapt the housing to fit them, it means you don't have to make any other changes to the vehicle's exterior ... no extra holes in the body work etc.

It's not, and that's not what I was after, despite there being loads out there of that type.
All I wanted to do was connect from outside to inside, just like a tv or staelite cable, not a powered socket - I have concluded it doesn't exist so will make one from a tv aerial socket ! Will Try to run a spare USB cable into an aerial socket and have the other end inside.
Appreciate everyone's efforts tho!

Most shower units here have had inbuilt radios for as long as I have lived here. Not cheap.

Dave I use one of these to run my external USB WiFi antenna to the router in the garage, the barrel is long enough to go through the wall of our Rapido and fit the retaining threaded ring. It seems they are out of stock at the moment but may be worth an email or a further search.
Cheers

Im with PaPaJohn, its seems none of the suggested are waterproof when in use
although all may work well from being fitting inside another form of protection(y)

From your comment maybe "You"?
But i would question the wisdom of running signals & data so close to the 240v
poss interferance via electrical disturbance

Yes I understand that but I know it has been done in the past by someone and they never reported any issues with it, it's just a suggestion but the op doesn't want to do it that way anyway.
