Thought about it but I bet those sneaky krauts have already infiltrated the glorious British built motorhome and made them claustrophobic and expensive.. .

Does your Exclusive have a drop down above the cab which can either be 2 singles or a transverse double? I am specifically interested in what bedding you would use on the drop down in singles configuration given that it's made up of a long main matress and then a separate fill-in at the end, and that the fill-in has to be removed when the bed is back in the raised position. Thanks.

We have the i740 plus and I have put a double sheet on the main mattress. I am looking around at the moment for some sort of cover for the spare pads that go on when the bed is made, or I will make some. I have bought two lightweight single duvets for us so we can sleep in the double bed bit or the two single bed bits. I was surprised how big single duvets are !! so they will be perfect either way, no more fighting over just one duvet (y)

Just measured the two pads for the bed and a 80cm x 80cm pillowcase would fit them just fine (y) there are quite a few on Amazon in different colours.

Thanks for that info. We don't pick our i740Plus up until end of June but I've been wondering how I am going to cover the mattresses and the fill in pads. Nice to know there won't be a lot of sewing involved.
Are you happy with your van?

Hi Ann, yes we love it !! still packing our stuff in it for our first trip in it over Easter. I have stopped tripping over the step down from the lounge area, so glad I got over that before I had a glass or two of vino

Have a great trip. Where are you going? Would be really interested in any hints and tips regarding things you discover with the i740 Plus. This will be our 4th van but I know that everytime we change it's back to a steep learning curve.

We are off to Wales. I will let you know how we get on. Our first trip on the way is to a weighbridge, we are going to fully load up to see how much weight we have left for bikes and a scooter/motorbike. This is going to be our first trip in over 9 years where the dog cannot jump on top of us on the bed !!!

Interesting that you mentioned the step down in the lounge, I've had ours just about 2 years now and I recall doing exactly that in the early days but now I don't give it a thought, so you will get used to it.

Same as that, we have a 2004 comfort i700 with fixed single rear beds and SWMBO is always tripping over the step up into the bedroom. Sure she will get used to it. Fantastic motor home we call it Mo.
