not long enough
First noticed on Wednesday, no idea what it is but something is whistling like the crickets frogs etc that we only normally hear much further south in Europe

cant even tell if its a bird, frog or insect, but as now dark probably not a bird

nice sound, just never heard it here before round here, is it only in north Derbyshire ?

They, or it possibly, is or are at it again, sounds just like being on holiday abroad, but with a full size fully working fridge next door and a full size bed upstairs (y)

It does remind me of being on the med near Montpellier on a Haven site years ago, the frogs literally kept you awake at night

They did warn us about the effects of Brexit, so there is no point complaining now.

Ps.

The noise you are hearing is a collective whinge from the Bremainers.

It will hopefully subside in time(y)

I heard a frog croaking in our pond the other day. Strange for this time of year, we only normally hear them during the breeding season.
