Can you de-restrict a Peugeot ebike (1 Viewer)

This is purely an hypothetical question and only for off road use but can I de-restrict my Peugeot e bike so it does not cut out at 15 mph ,20mph would be better I know you can buy a dongle to do that on bosh motors but don't if Peugeot use bosh(wrong spelling I know ) ?

Have you had a look on YouTube there seems to be a few vids on there about de-restricting electric bikes, I know one moves the sensor away from the pick up point so it takes longer to read so thinks the wheel is going slower than it actually is so does not cut out at 15mph

If they have a trigger wheel like a motorbike it might work the same as taking out every other bar, example ZX10R is restricted to something like 188 which is no good at the North West 200 so they take bars out!

They simply monitor motor pulses - at least the hub motors do. Not sure about crank drive - they may monitor a wheel sender because of the gears.

Think our crank drive Kalkhofs just use a magnet on the rear wheel and a reed switch to monitor the rpm.
