Any suggestions as to where I can get one of these...

It's the bung from my fresh water tank.
Nuova Rade
Expanding - but it doesn't, which is the problem.
Diameter 35mm
(I've found similar looking things online at marine suppliers but they seem to be either 40 or 25 mm)

It's obviously been 'repaired' once with cable ties.

Any suggestions to an alternative bung?

What about an ordinary basin plug, something like Broken Link Removed? Our fresh water tank has that sort of arrangement, with a chain between the plug and the tank access cap.

Thanks - I suspect that might 'do' if I can't get a proper replacement.
I assume the weight of the water would secure the plug in position?

I assume so. I dangle ours on its chain to drop it into the drain hole. I've never noticed any drips when filling the tank or in use so it must be a reasonable fit.

@JockandRita Thanks - will order one of those as [hopefully] a permanent replacement...
Marine supplies, not motorhome .

Meanwhile, am trying @GJH Graham's idea of a sink plug - fits quite snugly (y), so fingers crossed, we'll see if I have any water in the tank tomorrow.

I guess the real test will be to see if it stays in place bouncing along England's super smooth highways :D.
I suspect an old fashioned rubber one might have been better, but B&Q only had plastic.

Cheers both.
:thanks3:

Glad to be of help. (y)
Often a Chandlers, (or marine suppliers) is the place to source items used in MHs. ;)

I got my really small rubber plug and chain replacement, from B&Q at Maskew Avenue Retail Park, rather than from a leisure outlet. ;)

Cheers,

Jock. :)
