I am aware of all the arguments of taking a skybox and card out of the U.K. However can someone give me advice.

I have a sky HD box and I note 2 satellite connections at the back of it coming from the dish. I have an 85cm oyster dish on the van with only 1 satellite connection coming from it.

If I marry the skybox with the oyster dish will it work?, and if so which connection do I use on the skybox?

Hope this makes sense.

Any advice welcome.

Yes will work fine as long as you have dish on the correct satellite. Use input 1..
The second input is to allow recording of another channel while you watch another, so you won't have this facility. Unless you change the LNB on the Oyster.

Getting there!
You'll need to set the skybox to single lnb in settings. We use a multiroom box in the van when on hook up no probs. 1 lnb to the sky box. The other to the telly which has its own built in reciever when on 12 v only.
