What size solar panel? (1 Viewer)

I have a 100 ah battery, and am planning to add a solar panel. The battery will be used for 1-2 nights power. Was looking at a 150w solar panel, would this suffice? Will be touring predominantly on continent ( where they have some sunshine!!!!).

150w panel is more than enough for a 100ah battery, but will give you scope to increase your battery bank at a later time if you so wish. You'll get far more than 1-2 days use off grid, weeks in fact.
Ps make sure you add a decent solar charge controller. The very cheap ones can be unreliable.

That really depends on what you are powering. If you only have LED lights and occasional use of water pump then 150W is more than enough (I have 120W panel and only have LED lighting and a tablet charger...no TV/ DVD/satellite and it's fine for 2 to 3 days). Do a power budget. If you don't know what you use you won't know what you need!

More than enough, you should look at 1 watt per amp ie: 100amp battery = 100 watt panel. The key thing is the solar regulator , which should be a MPPT as these work better. If you can get one of these: Broken Link Removed

This will allow you room to expand at a later date. I have the one above and currently getting 10 amps from UK sun. I have been "off grid" for 4+ weeks without problem.

We run LED lighting, pump, Sat TV and various 12v chargers off an 85W monocrystalline panel via an ageing 110Ah battery, so what the OP is proposing should be more than sufficient.
