We are just in the process of buying a 2002 Laika Ecovip 7.1G and was wondering if anyone has any information on this model, good or bad.

Well, we have had the motorhome for 2 weeks now and have spent the first week in it and it is great. MHO likes the automatic gearbox and also the cruise control which we think was an added extra. Plenty of space for all the 'junk' and plenty of space for living.

Hi randoneur,
Just saw your post and see that you live in the Charente, same as we do.
We have a Laika low profile 666R, which we have had since 2005, find it a great van with plenty of space both for living and storage.
We live in Cherves about 8k north of Cognac, if you are in this area then give us a call, you can stop on our drive if you want a overnight stop.

Hi Randoneur

Just wondered if you still had your Laika? if you are still about and on here, did you ever fit a solar panel? if so did you just connect it to the CP900 charger or did you use a rectifier?.

Just thought I'd ask as trying to find info on hoe to do it.

Thanks

Simon
