At a show recently I saw a :-
Quest Leisure Easy Air 350 Lightweight Inflatable Caravan Porch Awning
It was just what we wanted and at the right price £229. 'Trouble was it is designed for caravans with an overall height of just 235 - 250cm. Apart from that it was perfect. Right size very light and easy to erect.
I need something a little taller. Any idea's ???

I have a Vango Sapera Tall drive-away awning for sale. Bought last year and used once (needs have changed).

Just got a Kampa 390 XL rumpy pumpy awning almost new via fleabay. Haven't tried it yet, but it is the right height. Looks a good bit of kit but rather heavy....

Thanks but while the Kampa's look good but they are steel framed. I was hoping to find an inflatable. They are lighter and easier to erect.
The Quest I was looking at just connected to my integral awning .

CWH, thanks for the links but the height problem remains. Those awnings whilst described for motorhomes have a connection height of 180 - 245.
Most of us need +250 and that's assuming on level ground.

Just tried mine (in the driveway) as the XL it fits a rail height of 280cm (mine is a bit under 270) and is inflatable. the cord just slips into the track on the Fiamma F45 wind out awning. Just sourced some track to fix at the bottom for the supplied skirt and job done (y)

Have you looked at the Movelite Oxygen? We have just bought one. It's an airframe one.

Thanks for all comments. If you google Kampa 200 you get a steel framed caravan awning !!
I'm now going to look at all reccomendations.

You need to google kampa motor rally for matorhome awnings. They show the air and the poled awnings.

I think we ended up with a 260L caravan awning to get the exact height we wanted. I did phone Kampa to discuss and they were most helpfull.

Just be aware that the Vango Kela offering has a lower actual awning height than other awnings and therefore the connection tunnel slope is greater and can impinge on the door opening.

The L and the XL are the higher motorhome version of the caravan awning

We have the inflatable Kampa Motor Rally Pro 260 L, which I think is for a rail/awning channel height of 250-265cm. We use it if staying somewhere with the dogs for a few days, easy to put up and useful additional space / prison for dirty wet dogs!

That's just the reason we want one !! Somewhere for a wet dog to dry off.
Don't you like "Eau de spaniel" wafting around the van then? ;) no good for a short stay but more than a couple of nights they are invaluable

I asked Quest about Hight extensions and they replied:-
"
Hi - I have asked our buyer on your behalf - he has responded:
We do not supply any high top connections for the 350 porch awning
We only supply the Low and High top connections for the drive away awnings 510.
Sorry we cannot help you.............Pauline"

Looks like we're back to the drawing board !!
