Had the same thing happen in Denia years ago but with an overhanging tree

Exactly how they got us, except it was in Sorrento. We still find the odd dead one many years on, they get everywhere. The local supermarket carried more killer sprays than I would ever have believed existed, some are still in stock in the MH.

No and they are trying it on further away from Calais too, we were at La Rochelle for goodness sake.

On my to do list, where are you stopping and is it worth it, apart from ants ?

Had a mouse build a nest on top of our water tank screw top once, also spilt a full maggot tin used for fishing in our side locker under the bed, had to take every thing out, it took ages to pick them all up.
All adds to the fun of camping.

The fifth wheel I bought in the US in 2009 became infested with ants which were totally resistant to any attack I made on them in the 7 weeks I spent crossing the northern states. It was only when I left the fifth wheel in California with my friends that they blitzed it three times with a total lockdown and fumigation bombs was the war declared won. I never had the problem again in 2010 or 2012 on my further travels. So, can you get fumigation bombs in this country?
