Very nice.
personally i would prefer a double Settee and scrap the dinette.....it doesnt look condusive to sprawling out type relaxing only having one settee.

Very similar layout to the Geist I've just sold except for the double Dinette and there I would prefer a single to make full use of Captains chairs and available space but of course that is purely a critique of the layout which would be different for all of us.

You may well have a need for 6 belted seats. Nice looking van though. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

I agree, that was our preferred layout but with 2 teenagers I don't think I'd get a look in anyway. One of the reasons I went for this motorhome (BTW this is not the exact van but identical with different coloured material, haven't got a site to upload my photo's yet, will do in due course) as it's only done 23k miles from new, it's been well looked after as the owner is a boss of a heavy haulage business and it's been garaged when not in use.

Looks a very nice van Antony!(y) When are you expecting collection?

Thanks, we are collecting her at the end of March all being well.

A double dinette is useful from a skiing point of view.
You can separate the cab off from the hab area to increase insulation.
Many similar vans even have a door separating the cab for that purpose.
Euramobil, Dethleffs, Carthago and Burstner have similar designs.

Ours has this layout..

I've removed the table so we have full use of the captains chairs and both couches, we just put a small foldable table up for drinks food etc..

Hi Jim,

Did you do the conversion yourself? I really like that layout but we need the dinette double bed.

I'll make a list of questions and post tomorrow.

Thanks Antony

It came from the factory like that, they did a couple of options on layout.

Hi Jim,

I see yours is RHD so did all the instructions for the control board, electrics come in English?

Where my batteries are stored there seems to be an inverter but I don't understand my instructions. Is this right or something else?

I'm taking mine for it's MOT on Saturday morning then once that's passed I'll fill in my IVA 1C form. Can't wait to get her registered so I can take her out for a weekend away.

Any advice to a novice will be truly welcomed.

Thanks Antony

Hi we have exactly the same van 2005 rhd. Purchased last september and its the only rhd ive seen so they seem quite rare. We also have 2 teenage boys and the same layout. Took the van to the alps for skiing in Feb and worked really well with the heated garage and lockers etc. The only negative is that the dinette is not the most comfortable whilst travelling but if only 2 are traveling in the back then they end up sitting sideways with their feet up. Just had mine serviced today and apparently needs a new exhaust which is proving difficult to source but probably coming from Germany.Anyway hope you are enjoying your van as much as we are . Will look out for you somewhere out there.
