Hi all
New to campers and converting, I've just converted an iveco daily minibus and hit a problem with a second hand cara oven I bought. It has a 20mm hole at the back for what looks like a flue kit. Does it need to be vented out to the outside of the van or in the oven compartment as it has vent slots at the front of the oven.
Some pics of my work:

Can't help with your question as we've never had a van with an oven but the conversion looks great.

Have you replaced the windows with double glazed units? If not how are you going to deal with condensation?

Amazing. I'm very jealous. I'm sorry I can't answer the oven question but can I ask how you lined your shower??

No I haven't got double units but there is a large vent in the roof and will insulated so hopefully just suffer on the windows which have recesses to take condensation away. I am hoping will deal with the condensation if not I would be greatful to ideas as I'm new to this.
Hi I lined the shower half with plastic sheeting (roof) and plastic cladding sides.
Thank you for your kind replies.

Welcome and well done with the conversion. For condensation invest I a Karcher window vac as it will short work of clearing them.

Nice job you're oven must vent to outside the van and it would be a good idea to have a carbon monoxide detector if you haven already got one.
my first van was a Leyland fright rover Mellor coach craft 19 seter buss I had blown air hating and did not have any problems with condensation.
Might be a good idea to join this forum you will be most welcome and a tenner well spent
you will get all the advice you will ever need her with motorhome fun

Hello mate. Looks ace and almost exactly the type of layout I would have done. Rear u shaped lounge for chilling/entertaining.

Echo what has been said - gotta vent outside and get an alarm in as you have.

Gotta hand it to you though - I wish I had the skills to do something like that. I'd have managed to take the seats out (with an angle grinder/axe or similar).

Hello and welcome to MHF.
Your mh looks fab. A great conversion. Very modern.
Ralph's doing ours, a new xlwb Peugeot boxer. It's taken him hours and hours........Like you after work and every weekend .
Like your partner I'm a PVC widow.
I'm sure you'll have lots of happy times in your conversion. You'll see lots of rallies on here, try and get to one. Great fun.
