Hi,
This is my first post on the forum, so bare with me if I am doing anything wrong. Also a newbie to motorhomeing having only made a couple of trips since buying a Bessacarr 484.

We would like to go to the Malvern Show as it is fairly local to us and we like the idea of C&W.
Trouble is, so far we have only been on hook-ups so a bit worried about camping "in the raw".
Can anyone explain:-
a. Is it feasible that the leisure battery will last the whole weekend if we use the power sensibly?
b. Is there a drinking water source on site or do I need to travel with a full tank?
c. Assuming my subscription to MH Fun is accepted, do I just book with Warners and turn up on the day. Do I look out for any MH Fun banners?

Hi ian4apenny & welcome Not an expert on batteries (ours tops up with solar) but sure someone will be along to advise on that shortly - probably depends on age, capacity of battery & useage? There are fresh water points & chemical toilet waste points as well as toilet & basic shower blocks. We travel with half a tank of water & top up to make life easy & in case of it being busy. You book with Warners under Motorhome Fun Club with your subcription number (will be in your details or hover your mouse over your avatar) then when booked post on here plus add your details to the link found on the first page of this thread including how many bacon butties you might like on the Sunday morning Malvern Show is well signposted & you will be directed by marshalls for the show all the way to the Fun rally area then by the Funster marshalls so all easy. It's a big & popular friendly gathering so sure you will be made very welcome - you will see Funsters all over the place wearing their badges & with signs in their motorhomes!

Hi Ian & Chris,
Like you we have a Bessacarr484, Yep no prob with battery over 3 day period ( especially that time of year) we have gone up to 4 days without ehu. as the Wombles have said water we normally arrive if poss with it full or we fill up on arrival, also take a couple of 5 litre bottled water from local supermarket usually about £1 each. we also usually ensure at least 1 gas bottle is full.
Nice to hear someone else has the same motor,it's our 10th m/h over the last 35 years.

hello welcome to MHFun we did our first wild camp at Newbury last weekend I had no idea how long my leisure battery would last so we was using our electric very careful but found out that we had plenty of power for well over three days
I changed all my halogen bulbs for LED bulbs which saves loads of power but pricey to purchase worth it though our next step is solar
Which we was advised by our trusty funster neighbours (swanseajack13)
All in all your battery will last 3 days easy and turn up with a full tank of fresh water to avoid queues there is always someone on site that will help you out
