Think you need to enable apple cloud/storage( free up to 5gig)
On your old pad
Remember your login thingy it should do itself
Unless you have more than 5 gig stored on it in which case they will sell you more storage
Or take em both into an Apple Store
A spotty oik will possibly help

:wink::wink:

Apps you have purchased are yours for keeps, on your new ipadair once you have registered it your iTunes Store is available to you, click on the Apps Store icon and on the bar on the bottom you will see a 'Purchased' option, click on that and all the apps you have ever had will be displayed for you to download(y)

Got mine from USA
A friend went on business and brought it back.
It cost the same in dollars as it was in pounds
Everything worked as it should and came with a UK plug
Just goes to show how much extra we get ripped off with prices in the UK.

Regarding yours, have you priced up the contracts to get a free one?
Depends whether you want one with a dongle or not.
I've managed well without and just use it on the wifi or tagged to my phone via Bluetooth

There is on EBay, iPad European model with UK 3pin plug.
Any ideas about the differences to the UK modules?

I always buy Apple products directly from Apple either online or in a store. The prices are the same but their after sales service is unbeatable. The best example is, a while ago, 'er indoors iPad died. It was about 2 years out of warranty so wasn't expecting much. Took it to the nearest Apple store, they had a look, confirmed it was banjaxed, said "Oh dear the warranty has expired, let me go and speak to my manager," came back a few minutes later and replaced it FOC on the spot. Also, this doesn't really apply to mobile devices, but when buying Macs you can choose the specifications you want which you can't do when buying one off the shelf from a reseller.
