we have a truma c6002, heating/hot water control is fitted really low on the side of the fixed bed, so to see we have to get on the floor.

I thought lets move it , to by the kitchen but the cable is not long enough. So wondered has anybody tried moving by cutting the cable & using some 12 core alarm cable to make it longer.

There are 10 cores, so can use some 12 core alarm cable.

Don't want to cut it, to find out it will not work.

Have looked around & can buy a 5mtr cable for £40.00 :eek: ,but thats still not really long enough.

Anybody tried extending one.
