Well that`s our 13th year & still loving it.
Two ways to level the motorhome with a Tag Axle, either turn it round so you are only using the ramps on the front wheels or if you want to face that way reverse the two rear most wheels up the ramps, we never had a problem unweighting the other two rear wheels.
Likely hood you will never have to raise them so they are totally clear of the ground.

not long enough
or E +P hydraulic jacks, that will sort it, could be worth extending your search to find one with them already fitted, or budget for the extra £5K (y)

Not wanting to intrude but, have you had any trouble on sites with tag axle? We are newbies and have noticed some sites have restrictions.

Also thanks for info on levelling...
Cheers

Never had the slightest issue and we travel a lot all over UK and Continent nearly 50'000 in last 4 years. Our tag is 7.5 meters long 5 ton gross. Some of the big 8.5 or 9 meter ones may have an issue as a lot of sites have a 8 meter max although I have several friends with that size and they never have problems either.
Heard the urban myths about tags not being allowed but ignore it just rubbish spread by clowns that have never owned a tag.
In 9 years serious travelling we've only ever been turned away 5 or 6 times and all were in an American RV.

At 29ft our tag was too big for some sites but very few, the extra size in the Arapaho was a delight when on site, yes you have to be careful when planning routes especially if going into very rural areas with narrow lanes but in all the years we owned the Tag we never got stuck or couldn`t go.
You just have to plan ahead but then again you should do no matter how big you outfit is.

Our main tip for a Long MH is to ring ahead and book they will save you longer pitches and on arrival for co pilot to walk from reception to pitch and check it looks feasible to pitch, you might have to reverse back a long way! It saves a lot of stress.

Suppose we're lucky as only 7.5 m never plan never book ahead and never need extra big pitch.
Off in a few days for 6 weeks in Europe ending in June for the Italian Motogp.
Amsterdam Berlin Dresden Prague Vienna Venice Lake Garda and Modena for racing. Apart from ferry nothing booked nothing planned thats how we like to travel. Thats the reason we got rid of the RV never know where we're gonna end up.

Our first trip out in the Tag Axle was to Alnwick, quite a shock to discover the archway at Bondgate, still we managed to get through without mishap, tight fit though.

Our tag is 9m and we have had very few problems with it due to length. however we very rarely use campsites in the UK. Most of our touring is in Europe and Morocco. When in the UK we use Fun rallies and C&CC temporary holiday sites where there are no restrictions on size, weight or length. And a hell of a lot cheaper than the majority of campsites.
