However, when I try to view it using the X2 software, I get a "disk data error or no video data" message. I have tried a second card, both purchased from Currys and it is the same. It MUST be there as you can view it on the unit..

I can easily view mine on Windows 7 using the built in camera software, however, if I want to save clips and store them using Windows, it's a different kettle of fish, inasmuch that I can still view them, but the clips don't have the same data on them, ie, GPS, coordinates, etc.

BTW have you tried taking the micro sd card out of the unit, putting it in an adaptor and playing it directly in Windows using a media player. Think it worked with VLC for me but can't check as dash cam \ card in m\h in storage.

As the first lot of 50 went in about 4 hours and a LOT of folk were disappointed they missed out, I am willing to order another 50 if there is enough interest.
As before, price will be pretty much 'at cost' as I am not doing it to make money !
They will be £30.00 plus postage which is £2.98 or happy have one collected or take to a meet for you.
I buy them in direct from the manufacturer so they are not a cheapo knock off ( there seems to be a lot of them about at the moment )

Two cameras ( one through the windscreen and one pointing back in to the cab )
G Shock sensor
R300 specification
GPS tracking ( works with Google maps )
Takes almost any mini SD card up to 16 gigs ( I have an 8 gig in mine which is plenty big enough ! )

Have just viewed footage of recent trip and noticed on the google map that my route looks a spider that has trod in some ink and walked across the map in that the route on the map does not stay on the road but jumps all over the place.....I did notice on the camera screen that the GPS logo was intermittently flashing, would this cause the 'spider' problem... apart from this a great piece of kit
