We are dipping our toes into touring France for the first time in mid April and meeting up with friends in Foleux on their boat. We will then be looking to see a bit of rural France the last week in April and early May and heading your way. Have motorhomed all over Germany and a bit of Italy, but never France so this trip will be a bit of an adventure for us. I will drive for hours for a decent pig roast though...................

Sorry, but we'll have to pull out of this. Shame, as we were really looking forward to it.
Viv has had some pretty awful health problems, going all the way back to October. He has just last week come home from hospital after Op No. 2, but it's gonna take some time to get himself right !
Very sorry, but we'll catch up with you again sometime soon.

Really sorry to hear about Vivian not being well and we hope they sort him out soon and he makes a good recovery. These things happen in life.

We were bumped off the original Brittany Ferries Economie booking from Portsmouth to Le Havre owing to the ferry going into dry dock for repair, so had to book to go to Caen on the full fare ferry, we got the same large size Cabin and also got a voucher discount off the next booking. So we still hope to be at Twin Lakes on May 1st.
Is there a supermarket nearby for provisions?
