Just a couple of points, Chester Camperfest have said strictly no admittance before 3 o'clock, anyone getting in the area earlier one of the places you can park is on the Greyhound Park (by PC world) no restrictions there.

For those with larger motorhomes the entrance is tight so take your time getting past the pay booth.

Please check the 3 Rally Threads. Meet and Greet/Variety Evening and what's on over Easter.

Not long now any queries or information please ask.

They sent me an email confirming this, but I must of deleated the email, I sent Chester food fest an email a couple of weeks ago stating this but I've had no reply. Will it be ok for me to just turn up, I'm number 53 on the list.

Hi John, as Gloworm says best to get Briony from Chester Food Festival to send you a confirmation e mail on Tel 01244 405615 as Camperfest are dealing with the bookings and you have to go past them before you arrive where we are on the Fun area.

As I am travelling a long way,I was hoping to stay in the Caravan Club site before going on to the race course only to find it is closed,,can any one recommend a good one not to far away from Chester????

Little Roodee car park opposite side of bridge to the racecourse, there were a few funsters overnighted on there last year and then some more of us joined them while waiting for rally to open , couple of pounds overnight till 9am then you can pay daily rate google for more info, also there are always single travellers couples and families sure you will have a great time

Eve, there is always Motorhomes parked up on the Roudee Car Park, which is next to the Law Courts in Chester, be careful to park in the lines though, along the river bank there are long flat bays you can usually get in one of those after 6 o'clock .

We have quite a few solo ladies and gents coming to the meet.

I'm going on my own and Carol is right about Roodee car park, right by the river and easy walking into Chester shops. As you go over bridge racecourse is on your left and car park on your right, but I don't think you can turn right I think you have to carry on to roundabout to come back on yourself and then make a left hand turn to go down to car park. You are allowed to be there overnight. Look forward to meeting you.
