Once found a mouse wearing a tuxedo and ballet shoes reciting poetry......

Or was that a dream !!!
That'll teach you to buy grey market baccy
I am loving this thread.

I found a mouse staring at me in our boot when we had a mouse infestation in the old van.

Not sure which of us was the most scared:D
Could have been worse - it might have been Pappajohn reciting poetry

Four paperbacks, under the passenger seat - one of them "A Short History of Tractors in Ukranian" - a good read!!! Also left by previous owner.

I don't blame him leaving that there.

Strangest thing I found was a full bottle of wine.

But it wasn't there for long

Interesting, how do you hold it and drive at the same time, it's a 3 handed opration.
Also the neck of a wine bottle is quite narrow !!

Since 2005 this time
One of the houses we worked on had a white Ant infestation, when we ripped the wall down we found 30 or so Cocoa tins full of 2bob pieces. Turned out an old owner had a cinema, this was his "Tax free" earnings(y)
We also took on a fire job, the Lady of the house adopted stray Cats. The Firemen Found and disposed of 26 dead Moggies.
We found #27:whistle: as we were stripping out. One of the Chippees left early, so we put it in his tool box. It was a holiday long weekend, the temparture reached 42C that w/end

He weren't a happy bunny on tuesday morning;)

Worse thing was not in a MH but an Escort van we bought from WillHire to add to the aerial rigging fleet.
It was delivered and I asked one of the guys to rack it out.. He opened the door, gagged and would not go near it again.
Turned out someone had used it for poaching and there was a dead hare/large rabbit rotting slowly away down in front of one of the rear wheel arches.
I had to PAY someone a tenner to get it out as it was so grim ( what with the raging maggot infection etc etc )

Not long enough!
Not found anything in my own motorhomes but often find "things" in customers vans during hab inspections. Worth mentioning its a good idea to empty your van before putting it in for such work.

D.

A very slim hose though:D
And that reminds me. No 1 son was on the phone. I was explaining, (in some depth), about my recent endoscopy, and how they let you watch whats happening on a screen. .....He said "God, it must be like being in a worms house.":rofl:

Never found anything in the van as it was completely empty when we bought it from the dealer. But we found a dead rat in the garage a while back. Nothing too strange about that you might think:cautious:.......but Bill picked it up thinking it was one of those brown fur collar things belonging to his Mum. We had put things in a box intending to take them to the charity shop.
You should have seen his face when I said to him that it was a rat and obviously been dead for a while:Eeek: Needless to say it never made it to the charity shop:D

Almost a Newbie but not quite now.
Our van was empty on collection from dealer but this thread reminded me of a boat delivery from Ardrossan to Eastbourne. On arrival at E/bourne we cleaned the boat and found a leak in the aft cabin. On removing a couple of panels the owner pulled out 14 bottles of quality champers. :wine:We never got a sniff. :whistle2::crying:
