Just booked us in for this - great to have something our side of the country for a change!!

Been trying to book but can't!

Hubby took out a free 3 month subscription to MMM at the beginning of January so thought I'd book the Norfolk show on-line yesterday and get a £2 club discount and also a £5 subscriber discount too. I tried ... nope, hubby tried too .... nope, I tried again ... nope ... kept getting a message that hubby wasn't a subscriber even though we got a letter confirming it dated 12 Jan!

In the end I rang up and spoke to the Subscriptions staff ... nice lady sent me an email explaining that I had to REGISTER a new subscription against hubby's name (already registered for the OAL site and have been able to book on-line for other shows when a subscriber previously) so followed the info to the letter ... nope, not a sausage ... still no subscription found ... grrrr ....

Rang back and after speaking to several people who couldn't find out the problem as he was definitely a subscriber and there was nothing wrong, in desperation one lady spoke to the website techies to see if it was a glitch with the site which it wasn't BUT it was a problem with THEM ... it turned out that they had NOT uploaded the subscriptions data since early January and it would NOT be done until next Friday (6th Feb) at the earliest!!!! One of the problems has always been how old fashioned their website is but this just has to take the biscuit ... but it got even worse ....

The lady said she'd put me through to the events team so I could book over the phone ... after a couple of minutes she came back very apologetic ... apparently it is not possible to book this particular show over the phone, it can ONLY be done on line or via the post!

The words 'farce' and 'antiquated' just do NOT adequately describe this!!!
