Nothing to apologise for ... you had a query and we answered with various options, you simply chose the one that suits you ... others who read can also benefit from the comments/views in this thread to hopefully make a decision on what suits them too.:)

A lot of useful info here, thanks. As emergency back up to our 20litre fixed underslung tank we now carry a 2.7kgs R67 from Gaslow. Same size as a 907 camping gaz but can be (stand alone) refilled and (in emergency)attached to the gas inlet using the dedicated hose from Gaslow. Expensive but better than running out many miles from a refill.
Hamilton are cheaper than buying direct. We got it because we travel to Scandinavia and lpg is not as easy to find as in most countries. (though improving except in Finland where it doesn't exist).

Why would you need a changeover system....surely your just adding capacity to your tank with an add on

I have an 11kg Gaslow and would like to install a 6kg tank.
Do I have to buy a designated second bottle or will any 6kg Gaslow bottle suffice? Is it to do with the angle of the connecting pipe? How easy is it to do it myself?

You need a No 2 bottle - the no 1 bottle has the fitting for the filler hose which is not required on the no 2.
As it happens I have a 6kg no 2 bottle for sale as I upgraded to an 11 kg bottle.
I'm in Morocco at the moment but will be selling it when I get home late April.
Send me a PM if you are interested

Hello. Yes I would be interested in your 6 kg Gaslow tank. Sorry for the delay in responding but I have been away.

Can I just ask how the size of a calor lite compares with foreign bottles?
I know I can fit 3 calor lites in my locker but would only get one refillable and a lite in But with some room to spare.
So am thinking fit refillable leave the calor at home and take the extra hose mentioned above so if unable to refill buy foreign bottle - content could be equalised with empty refillable then use up what remaining in the foreign bottle.
Seems logical but is it practical?
