Hi folks.......My name is Neil, and my wife's is Karen.
After 2 years of "camping" in our people carrier, and wondering should we buy a motorhome, we've finally done it....and, needless to say, we should have got one ages ago!
We've been doing fairly local trips to places like Llyn Alwyn resevoir on the denbigh moors etc and even overnighted at the Roodee car park in Chester so we could go and see a film in town, mainly to get used to the vehicle and to see what gear we should be carrying with us.......we did our first "proper"night out on Sunday near Grasmere.
Getting back to the MH after walking in the hills above grasmere and being able to walk in, pop the kettle on and chill out was pure luxury!
We met another couple overnighting up at the resevoir, and they recommended this site, so we've had a good mooch around it....We like the mix of light hearted fun with the common sense and advice that abounds on here, so it looks like we'll be pitching here for some time!
All the best, Neil & Karen.
