May seem obvious to all you who know.
Just finished fitting a Gas-It twin bottle system so now need to try it, do you turn the gas bottles off when filling.... open them or doesn't it mater.
It's the Auto change over system by the way.

Thanks in advance
Les

Hi,
The actual pipework is straight forward enough what is a little more difficult is the filler point. In my case I chose the"inboard" filler as I didn't want to drill the bodywork.
Sighting of the mounting brkt will, I'm sure be different depending on your M/H.
Because of the design of the brkt there are alot of stresses at the base. To try and make it more sturdy I had two stainless steel plates cut about 9" square and sandwiched the locker roof, mounting the brkt in this area.
Sorry, not very good at explaining will try and post a picture shortly.

Oh I forgot to say, pick up wife and head down to here in the Algarve as it is so much warmer than Tod. Area and gas is sooo much cheaper

We shall be heading that way before too long, still waiting for the dogs injections to be completed for his Doggy passport:rolleyes:
Some dumbo forgot about it when doing the planning.

No instructions with kit! 80% valve may stick when filling!
Sounds like a real safe set up to me!:eek::eek::eek:

I have a 55 litre underslung tank and I have never switched anything off to fill since I had it fitted, the filler is on the floor of the old gas locker and I just keep going until it stops
