There is always more than one way to skin a cat and I much prefer DIY I thrive on it.
My design uses 40x40x5mm angle iron which is well above and beyond what it is expected of it.
This additional strength affords a simpler design than other offerings that use 25 or 30 by 3mm angle.
I don't need an all encompassing ring as my angles contact the rubber ring on every edge due to clever spacing and there is no flex.
My frame will be heavier than others but I have the payload so not a concern to me.
It will look exceptionally good and sparkly when fitted and STAY that way not relying on a messy simple black spray that won't stop corrosion from the inside out.

Couldn't find any photos but my quick drawing shows what I did in stainless - very similar to yours I suspect.

A special thanks to member Jimbohorlicks for his advice about providing extra holes for hanging during the galv process. I had thought my assembly holes would do as I would re drill and tap them anyway BUT if pieces of wire are stuck and galv'd in them too it would be a chore to clear them out.
So this morning I've added nice 12mm holes at points of no consequence.

This is the company I will approach tomorrow (also do powder coating) I may change tack after seeing them yet.

Any thoughts about colour? if I powder coat

Hi Andy

Don't you get Sunday's off for good behaviour, I tend to work Sunday's as well but have the rest of the week off.

I imagine you will be alright with the galvanizing as long as you are prepared to wait for a batch to go in.

The company is huge, batches will be constant but I'm in no rush as I have a considerable amount of gas to use up in the old tank yet. I don't have weekends Martin, everyday is FUNday

Go with galvanizing: powder chips & water gets under it. Given the location stick with plan A. If you want to you can always paint the parts in view once the galvanizing has oxidised.

Parts dropped in this morning, quoted minimum fee of £72. Probably ready Wednesday. I'll find out how much steel they will do for that price as I don't know how my project stands on the scale of things.

£72 covers up to 120kg of steel so could probably do several for that.
I collected mine today but it was far from perfect due to rough handling by muppets.
Anyway after cleaning off all the rough I've coated it all in cold galv paint on top.
Probably fit it next week

Me too.I might drill and tap the chassis tomorrow and if the weather holds drop the old tank off. Not going away until xmas and I'd rather get it done before then.

I've now created my fixing points, the flat bar shown goes on the inside of the chassis rail channel. Being used here just to check hole alignments.
I've got the old tank off and all the crap so it's ready to go.
I have just spent £3.74 at my favourite ironmongers on 2 metres of 10mm screwed rod and 12 10mm nuts.
To raise my new frame into place (have carefully measured with van on Millencos) I will use 4 350mm long rods and lift each end of the frame 50mm or so at a time while chasing with the nuts, once near the top I'll replace the rods one at a time with the final fix bolts.

Thanks Mike
Sunday is looking good weather wise for fitting. I'm just applying several coats of Hycote post office red acrylic paint meanwhile.

We've booked Peterborough CC 23rd December to 3rd January.
I believe the Sunday forecast is dry so I'm fitting it then.
I'm pretty sure my work method statement has turned into a one man task but wifey will accompany me for elf and safety.

I do Martin but I never push myself on people. A number of members have used my abilities.
I'm very happy if my posts inspire people to do it themselves as when detailed in pictures it takes away a lot of mystery. Knowledge dispels fear (y)
