ADVENTURE OVERLAND SHOW
FUN MEET
26TH/27TH & 28TH SEPTEMBER

ITINERARY

FRIDAY: Main arrival day - after settling in, get together in Fun/365
Marquee - around 8 p.m.

SATURDAY: 10.30 a.m. onwards, coffee morning - bring cups - tea, coffee,
Milk and sugar will be provided - some cakes will be provided
But a few more would be nice.

4 p.m. Communal BBQ - BBQ’s will be provided - please bring
Your meat, plates and utensils, plus drinks. There will be a
Jacobs table/American table, for those that do not know what this
Is, to make a lovely spread to share, please bring a plate/dish with
Something savoury on to go with the meat or even a nice desert
Wouldn’t go amiss.

We will also have a few activities where prizes can be won - this
Is not obligatory but will be FUN.

Evening to be continued in Fun/365 Marquee

SUNDAY: 10.30 a.m. Bacon butties along with tea and coffee (to cover
Costs,a donation of £1.00 per buttie would be appreciated).

BRING AND BUY to be held at the same time - you can sell
Anything as long as it is legal - please note this is purely for
Fun/365 members and is not open to the public.

For those staying until Monday - get together in Fun/365
Marquee in the evening.

None of the above is compulsory, you can do your own thing or join in - we want you to enjoy your weekend away.

So we havent yet booked, if we were to come depending on my fitness to travel it will be on the Thursday/Friday.

It will depend on the hospital, but there not that great, but it whether they send me elsewhere, wont hold my breath, they hadnt even made the emergency appt on Friday for Wed, until I chased it twice.

But it would be lovely to see you all

Would we be too late to piggy back on this, given we are new members who will be using this event to test out our new (to us) van for the first time?

Other than entrance and donations (bacon rolls etc) already referred to, any other fees to gatecrash (if there is room of course)?

Hi RB, no additional fees are payable. Unfortunately you won't benefit from the discount sundowners organised for us and in case you hadn't read it elsewhere you will need to pay cash on the gate. If you do come tell them on the entrance you are camping with MotorhomeFun and once in look for the large yellow Fun flags. You can arrive any time from Monday, £10.00 per night extra payable on arrival, I believe you will be in the general camping area until Friday when the club camping areas open

Thanks for the confirmation. As we had no knowledge of the discounted entry we were expecting to pay the standard entrance fees anyway. If all goes according to plan, you may well have the misfortune of our company this weekend. I suspect Cindy will pilot the van up on Friday afternoon, with me in hot pursuit via motorcycle after work that evening...

No worries you will be more than welcome. When you arrive tell them you are with MotorhomeFun there is a possibility you may get the discount (50% off the weekends camping and show entrance) We all hope to see you there. Please tell Cindy to be sure to ask if she needs any help and not to be shy...we don't bite

Remember you are with MotorhomeFun, not in the general camping area, make sure you look for the large yellow flags with a smiley face on....that will be our camping area.
