Well, I've heard a lot about these cadac safari chef doodahs and quite fancied one but wasn't that keen on paying full retail.

I got a nice bargain yesterday though.... An end of season display one for the bargain price of £31.99 !!!!

I just bought 5 LED bulbs from a chap from China for under £6 hope they do what they say they will.
First impressions:- they work, the light is good and were easy to change.

After going to garage in N Wales, slept in layby and found I had a gas leak somewhere. I bought a smile and a sorted out gas connection from a lovely man .... the cost ... a packet of biscuits for with his coffee. :)

Oh yes, nearly forgot. I also bought a "battery backup 6 x tone siren" to replace the existing one on the MH alarm system, which had died a death. So, if you interfere with the alarm's power supply, you'll still get an audible fright.

Cheers,

Jock.

many many years! since I was a kid
just picked up a new fuel filter and the housing for just under £60

with the dodgy O ring problem causing many breakdowns it is a good idea to carry a spare. easy enough to fix at the roadside too. just unplug the old one, unclip the hoses and slide up out of the mounting bracket

Davanne, I did not even know we had a B&M but we do and they still had lots of the bowls left. Dead chuffed. Thank you very much.

Could you let us know what it cost?
My Van is Italian and it seems I would have had accepted a long delivery period to obtain a replacement window. So the offer of 7/10Days for a new window to be made was attractive. Unfortunately the window size was new so a mold had to be made and i was required to contribute to the cost . Sadly the final cost for a small Bathroom window was £292 inc VAT. However the service was excellent and I believe I may well have paid more for an Italian window. They need the broken window but will collect and deliver. One MAJOR consideration for us was that we are going to Lincoln and maybe onwards almost immediately. Didn't fancy having a Plywood covered polythene substitute.

This week I bought a bluetooth kit for my stereo. Broken Link Removed
Paid £18.01
It will connect to 2 bluetooth items at the same time so I can play music from one and use my phone also
It fit easily, I didnt want to change my stereo as it plays DVDs and plays most formats.

How is it connected to the stereo Jezzer ??

It's simple. It has 2 connection plugs from the main unit that fit between the iso connectors at the back of the stereo. The control unit is wireless so no connections to make. Then you just fit the microphone.
