Hi all,

Currently making our way down along the Spanish coastline (stopping @ a new Aire in Calpe) and wondered if anyone has recommendations for good campsites along or near the coast to Portugal.

So far we have found the standard to be below par and as we have small children we would like the facilities to be more suitable.

Any help or honest posts will greatly received .

Thanks.

Don't know what type of site you like but we have stayed at Los Escullos several times in the winter, possibly a little isolated but superb location and facilities are OK

At the other end of Andalucia is El Rocio which is an interesting town, worth a google, and the site is good and in the ACSI discount scheme.

Just over the border in Portugal is http://www.campingriaformosa.com/?lang=en
well maintained, play area, pool beaches easily cycleable or via ferry from Cabanas.
