we have just had one of these fitted
MXL003
SEEKER WIRELESS FULLY AUTOMATIC SATELLITE SYSTEM
but only as we wanted the 85cm dish as a lot of people say the smaller dish doesnt work as good in south of france....

did look at the snipe and liked the look and price, but guess the info i got on here made me choose the bigger dish option..sorry i cant give any info on the snipe,,but the system we have seems to work ok (y)

Hi
I have a friend who has one of the snipe sats on her caravan and she said it works very well
she does not have it fitted but puts it on roof when she get to her site.
it cost her under £600

We are travelling through France and I can never understand the way a van pulls up at a nice aire, the sat dish goes up and tv comes on before anybody gets out to see where they are. We saw one parking the other day and the dish was spinning round before they had finished parking!
I'm not knocking the TV watchers, just can't understand why people travel to an aire with wonderful views and they have no idea what's outside
Oops, back on topic. I was talking to someone in Brittany with a Snipe and he said it was very good and picked up loads of channels.

I fitted ours about a month ago.

We're very pleased with it.
