Hi,

I am after some Fiamma roof vents.Size is 40cm x 40cm as a winter project.

They must be the older style to keep the rebuild correct for it's age.

I have seen new style ones @ John's Cross which are aerodynamically shaped but don't think they'd look right.

Might replace three of these if the price is right.

Does anyone know anywhere selling off these "older" style units please?

Steve.

Have tried O'Learys, they seem to have lots of wierd and wonderful bits, as well as the run of the mill stuff.

Cheers Peter.

They are not too far from the original design.:thumb:

And the price is.....?

£32-99p ! Phone Darren tomorrow and order three and tell him to give you 5% off as a Funster, website doesn't do it automatically any more.

Regards

Peter

Fiamma vents

Vaguely related to the thread, does anyone stock the Fiamma turbo top vent? This is the add-on one which goes on top of the existing vent with fans in the side? The Fiamma dealers don't seem to list it anymore.

I'm sure I've seen something similar around.

Hi, this was withdrawn about a year ago, it was not very popular, you have to use the standard Turbo vent, but you can travel with it open if you wish.

REgards

--------------------------
Fiamma blurb:

Turbo-Vent is silent at high speed and exceptionally silent at the minimum. Without the old resistance systems, which create a lot of heat and consume a lot of energy.
The Turbo-Vent is a ventilation system made from high quality materials, that are shock and UV-ray-resistant. It changes and
refreshes the air inside your vehicle within seconds thanks to the 12V DC variable speed motor with 10 blades. It is the only one of its kind with an innovative electronic circuit that allows a rapid, problem-free, change of rotation.
The cover can be opened and closed manually and the central arm provides stability against strong wind even when travelling with the cover open. Supplied with double external mosquito screen to collect leaves and other debris.
New transparent grating that permits maximum air circulation and filtering of light. Can be installed on roofs with depths of 3cm to 8.5cm using the optional extension kit

Maxx airs will not fit a Fiamma vent John. They are designed to mount on the US
14" x 14" units which are standard across the board on American vehicles. Fiamma 40cm x 40cm units are too big.
