Gas leaks!!! (1 Viewer)

We have been advised that we should replace the rubber hose from our gas cylinder as these perish after a number of years. Our motor home is 2007 is this something that is easy to do? and are the new rubber hoses easily obtainable?We thought that this is something that was covered in the habitation service - but it appears that this is not always the case ......................

Depends if you use Butane or Propane.. Both easy to get and simple to swop over yourself but if in doubt get someone you trust to do it..
TIP.. These hoses are date stamped so check when you buy/get one in case someone has real old stock and tries to pass it off...:thumb:

It depends who your service engineer is, the mobile lads usually carry hoses, the recommended life is 5 years, they do deteriate:thumb::thumb::thumb:

It is propane (red cylinders) thank you for the tip about the date stamping
