TORQUE SETTING PLEASE . . . and bolt sizes ie M14 or M16 for a Steel wheel spare 16" replacing a punctured (theoretically) ALUMINIUM WHEEL on a 2010, 4 ton, Fiat Ducato extended chassis for an Adria Coral 670 SL. Going round in circles at present! Is their anyone out there with a definite answer . . . PLEASE! :ROFLMAO:

From Fiat...

For the 10 and 15 versions, tighten the wheel bolts to the recommended torque.
Value - 16daNm M14 Bolts (160Nm)
For the 18 version, tighten the wheel bolts to the recommended torque.
Value - 18daNm M16 Bolts (180Nm)

For steel wheels it is as follows..

15 inch wheels M14 bolts 160Nm 118 lbs.ft
16 inch wheels M16 bolts 180 Nm. 133 lbs.ft

Thanks guys. I seem to have an answer for 16" steel . . . THANKYOU . . . . Anything on the aluminium torque?

A person I met recently who was selling 6 steel fiat wheels from his new hymer because he'd upgraded to hymer supplied alloys told me this...... They used all his original bolts and he made them put it in writing that this was ok

Geo has already said that the torque is relative to the thread size not the material I believe

wheel nut torque is determined by nut size....nowt to do with wheel diameter or material

M14 = 160nm

M16 = 180nm
