As the title states I'm seeking recommendations for must see places on or near my route which will run from Koblenz to Vienna. So that is more or less a straight line via Frankfurt, Nuremburg and Regenburg.

My plan is the be leaving Koblenz no later than third week in May and be in Vienna by the end of May. So might be willing to spend a little time at must see places.

We are in a Motorhome so prefer to use camp sites on outer ring of large towns/City's then use local transport to get in.

1) Get the Bord Atlas for all the Stellplatz in Germany, same as Aires in France, most near town centres.

2) Wurtzburg, Nuremberg, Regensburg and Bamburg all worth a visit.:thumb:

We travelled down the Rhine for a short way before heading over to the Mosel. There was a nice Stellplatz and a nice campsite next to each other at Bacharach, which we would return too. The kebab shop there did lovely pork? style kebabs not like the ones we get here!!
