... and time to leave the shadow of the lurkers pews and enter into the light.
Hi everyone - been here in the background for a good while now, soaking up the collected experience and wisdom in preparation for the day when we would pull the trigger on our first motorhome. That part is done - deposit paid to our local dealer last week, delivery expected on a new Adria Matrix Axess M670SC early in April. Blimey, that was quicker than we'd expected but never mind - it's all good.
The Soup Dragon and I have just celebrated 10 years of permanent living in Spain. What was supposed to be early retirement turned into a second career as a specialist recreational water technician but next year we're going to start taking some proper time out to explore Europe and those parts of the UK that we never got to see before we became full-time climate refugees.
We're both seasoned forum-fiends in our other interests (me, biking and The Soup Dragon with her cards and crafting) so we'll do our best to use the Search button before mithering everyone with questions that have been answered a thousand times already. My head is ready to explode with all the stuff I've read these past few days; security, alarms, navigation, aires/sites, ferry crossings, leisure batteries, solar panels, chargers for e-bikes and a dozen other topics.
That said, we're sure to be calling on your help and advice in the weeks and months to come. So thanks in advance for that and we look forward to many happy years in our newest adventure.
