my 3 way fridge doesnt work in either mode. Its the RM4267. Can I replace it with a under cabinet fridge or small table top fridge or even a mini fridge or a decent coolbox.

Yes of course but you must consider that the replacement must be the same dimensions or the cabinetry will have to be remodeled to ensure closure between the fridge rear and the habitation area.

I removed a working fridge for one that suited day to day use better

you could...but then you have to rely on hookup, and that isnt available while driving.

Cool Boxes

I can recommend the Waeco 12v/240v compressor type cool boxes, expensive and heavy but they work. The beauty of them is you can take them out and use them in a car or another camper.
