Carnaval at Portugal (1 Viewer)

Hello dear friends

next week end ( most of it on Sunday and on Tuesday) around all most every Vilas and City's we celebrate Carnaval, it's a big party, people dress funny clouds and dance and play a lot....

One of the oldest Carnaval of Europe ( oldedt from Portugal) it's the "Carnaval of Loulé" , now it's a very big Carnaval ( a lot of decorated cars and dancers) it's not big as the Carnaval from Rio de Janeiro, but have a lot of people dacing samba....

But if you prefer to see how in the old times people celebrate it, go to Paderne, near Albufeira , and you will enjoy the fun of play Carnaval....you will see dancers and decorated cars but in a different way....

so if you are around Algarve, prepare you self for the fun, and go visit one of this Carnaval....

If you come to Paderne, don't forget to look for us, we will be around whit a Funster flag, if you find us drinks on us ( first round) ;-)

Quarter a also has A big festival. We were there a couple of years ago and it took about three hours for all the floats and procession to pass along the sea front.
Look out for the float sponsored by a beer company( can't remember which one)
They have beer on board and dispense it freely to the spectators.
